  I have visited Calabash Seafood often and for many years. I question the bad reviews and their reasons.
  
  The folks at Calabash have always been very Courteous and attentive.
  I have always gotten good service and the food is extremely good.
  Have I had better food? Well yea, When I am at the ocean and everything is fresh caught that day. I also pay a premium for it.
  
  But Calabash is in Mechanicsville and It is better and cheaper than a whole lot of places in Richmond.
  
  So, Calabash. Keep doing what you are doing which is providing good service, good atmosphere and really good food for a reasonable price.
  I will always bring my friends and my family there for our quality meals.

  Loved it: Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very help full. The She Crab Soup is the best soup in town. Hush puppies are good. We both ordered the broiled sea food platter. Serving size is great. the broiled oysters a little small but they taste like you were eating them off a half shell. Have been going to Calabash 4 to 6 times a year since the early 80's. If you like sea food and never eaten at Calabash you need to try them, you will be hooked.
